Firstly, read the Astrology 101 article I wrote which gives you information about your Natal Astrological Chart and what goes into creating one.
Your Natal Astrological Chart (NAC) is static. It ALWAYS stays the same. You cannot change the date you were born, the location of your birth or the time of your birth. So your NAC always represents who you showed up to be at the moment you were born. The NAC is the blue print of your authentic self, who you are at your core as well as how you act and react to your emotional, mental, physical, spiritual, psychological and financial life!
A new current astrological chart is created every second of the day. As of the writing of this article it’s 6/25/16 at 2:15pm in Tucson Arizona.
The current chart shows me that the Planets in the sky at this moment are in the following alignment. The Sun is in the Sign of Cancer, Moon in Pisces, Mercury in Gemini, Venus in Cancer, Mars in Scorpio (Rx), Jupiter in Virgo, Saturn in Sagittarius (Rx), Uranus in Aries, Neptune in Pisces (Rx) and Pluto in Capricorn (Rx).
By the time you receive and read this e-mail (potentially Monday at 7:10am) all of the Planets I use in Astrology will be in the same Sign except for the Moon, which will just be moving into the Sign of Aries.
All of the Planets move at different speeds, which is why it takes approximately 25,000 years before the same Astrological Chart is recreated! The Planets are split into different types. The Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars move quite quickly and are considered Personal Planets. Jupiter and Saturn move slower and are considered the Social Planets and Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are considered either the Transpersonal or Generational Planets.
The basic astrological reading will compare the current chart and what is going on in that chart to your NAC. Astrologers compare the current chart to your NAC in many different ways. Some compare where the current Signs are in relation to the Houses in your Chart, some compare the current Signs to the Signs in your Chart. Depending upon the specialty of the Astrologer as well as what answers you are looking to obtain will determine how the Astrologer looks at your chart.
In order to give you some examples, I will need to look at one of the ways I look at your NACs. The examples below use the Planets, Venus, Jupiter and Pluto.
I am going to be using my own chart as the example. If you are an Astrologer or working on becoming one, then my birth information will be helpful for you. 9/13/59, Rochford, England 8:15pm.
In a Consultation I use your NAC as well as your Relocated Astrological Chart (more to come in Astrology 103 in a few days!), together with other metaphysical tools and resources.
E.G. This first example covers today and this weekend and is about one of the “Personal” planets. Currently Venus, the Planet of what you love, who you love, how you love and how we love to express love as well as our intuition and nurturing ability is in and moving through the sign of Cancer. Venus will be in the Sign of Cancer until July 12th 2016 at approximately 5:30am. Cancer represents and rules the family, your house, the foundation of your life, mothering, nurturing and the home life.
In my NAC, the Sign of Cancer is in my 4th House of home and family. Remember, the NAC is static so Cancer will ALWAYS rule my 4th House. The Planet Venus in the Sign of Cancer is moving through my 4th house and for the next few weeks and my home life and the foundation of my life will be something that will move to the forefront and be a major focus.
Today I have spent quite a bit of time organizing my master closet with my husband as well as cooking a couple of new recipes for my youngest son (who has been sick and wanting certain foods) as well as removing a dead or dying (not sure, it’s turning brown!) Agave Cactus in the back garden. I have also finished all the filing in my home office. I have called my oldest friend (since 11 years old) in England to talk about Brexit and what’s going on in my home country.
As you can see from the example, today has very much been a day where my foundations and my home life have come into focus. Tomorrow as a family we are going to see “Now you See Me – The second act”.
The second example is of a Planet having a longer effect on my life. Jupiter, one of the Social Planets, rules luck, expansion and growth and currently sits in the sign of Virgo. Virgo is practical, a great communicator, organized and is a lover of perfection!
Jupiter in Virgo is moving through my 6th house in my NAC until September 9th 2016 around 1pm. As you can see this is a slower moving Planet and will spend more time than Venus moving through my 6th house. I have a longer period of time to work on the specific issues that come up around Jupiter, Virgo and my 6th house. The 6th house represents, work, health and being of service as well as getting organized.
From now until September 9th I have an opportunity to get any health issues I might have dealt with. I will have a lot of luck finding the correct doctors and treatments that will bring me into the fullness of health. The same can be said for my work life. I recently hired an assistant who I believe has some wonderful skills, gifts and talents that will compliment mine to grow my business! In terms of “being of service” I have been looking at where I would like to devote some of my time and energy being of service to others. Before September 9th gets here I will have solidified at least one of those opportunities.
Finally, let’s look at the outer, generational Planets, those that move the slowest, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Uranus stays in the same sign for approximately 7 years, Neptune stays in the same sign for approximately 14 years and Pluto stays in the same sign anywhere from 14-30 years! Pluto is the slowest moving planet so the changes you get to make in your lifetime, take a lifetime to make!
Right now Pluto is in the sign of Capricorn and it’s Retrograde (which means it looks like it’s going backwards which slows it down even more and brings tons of confusion about what needs to be transformed)!
Pluto represents transformation and requires us to have lots of patience when it comes to the area we are transforming. Capricorn rules business, your social status as well as the government. It’s no wonder we are having so many transformational changes in the politics of the world. In the USA, the fact that Donald Trump is the presumptive nominee for the Republican Party is amazing! In the United Kingdom the British have voted to leave the European Union! None of this would have happened until Pluto was in Capricorn!
Bringing that down to a personal level. Pluto in Capricorn is moving through my 10th House of career and social status in my NAC. This has actually been going on for a few years now and will continue to focus its transformational energy on my career until March of 2023 when Pluto moves into Aquarius for the first time.
Pluto in Capricorn in the10th House indicates transformation around my career. If you have Pluto moving through your 10th house it can mean you completely change careers or there is transformation in how you handle your currently career.
If I look back over the past few years and look forward to what I am wanting to accomplish I can see the changes that have been made already. In terms of the Coaching side of my business. I work with female entrepreneurs to assist them in creating a business from their gifts, talents, desires, experience, education and knowledge that brings about success financially, emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically based on who they are at their core, using traditional and metaphysical tools such as Astrology, Human Design and the Gene Keys.
I also work with females who are already entrepreneurs and want to grow themselves and their businesses in a more natural metaphysical manner, helping them aligned with who they are at their core.
This has been a slow and steady transformation. I have coached women since I began my Coaching practice back in 2000, but was not clear about the type of woman I wanted to coach. It wasn’t until Pluto started its movement through my 10th house (around January 2013) that I started talking to my own Coach about getting clearer on where I wanted to spend my time and energy.
In answer to the question, “HOW CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE?” you can now see that it’s not that difficult if you know what you are looking for and you have questions from your clients!
The difficult piece is memorizing and using Astrological information on a daily basis. Yes, you could “figure” this all out for yourself. However, it would take each of you several years to learn the meaning of each of the Planets, Signs and Houses as well as Major and Minor Aspects, whether they are harmonic, dynamic or neutral as well as adding in your Relocation Chart, as well as many other terms that have no meaning to you unless you are an Astrologer!
What you want to know is “what’s coming up for me in the near and not too distant future?” or “what do I need to be aware of so that I can make plans?” or “what are the positives I can expect in the next couple of years?” or “what are the negatives I need to be aware of and can I overcome those with more knowledge?”
If you want to know what’s coming up in the next 2 years, what you need to be aware of, what you need to work on in both your personal and professional life, then maybe it’s time for an Initial or Follow Up Consultation. It certainly can’t hurt you!
Before July 1st look out for “Astrological Happenings for July 2016” together with the New Moon Wishes in Cancer, which will be happening on July 4th this year!
In the next few days I will be sending another “lesson” with information and answers to the question “ARE MY LIFE OPPORTUNITIES, OBSTACLES AND CHALLENGES DIFFERENT IF I RELOCATE TO AN AREA OF THE COUNTRY/WORLD OTHER THAN THE PLACE IN WHICH I WAS BORN?” – Astrology 103
If you would like to understand more about who you are and where your energy needs to be spent personally and professionally then maybe it’s time to book a 1-hour Initial Consultation. For those of you who have already experienced the Initial Consultation, is it time to look at what’s working and what’s not working since we last spoke and to get you back on track?
Ready to move your life forward?
If not now, when?
If not you, who?
